Any opinion as to the svc gc69 as a quiet cooler for a xp 2200+? Any other 80mm fan capable heatsinks recomended for 20 bucks or less? Thanks in advance people.
 
GC68 is cheaper and has always worked perfeclty for me. Not sure about the 2200+ though, the new design of the 69 might be a little better suited for it.

On my main rig (2400+) i have a thermalright AX-7 (freakin 1lb BEAST) and it works wonders....
 
id love to use an ax-7 if i could, im just not sure i have enough room around the socket on my m7viw. how much space to each side of the socket does the ax-7 occupy?
