Any thoughts on this Gigabyte B550 Vision D motherboard and its features, or lack there of? I haven't considered other similar products from competitors as I've been buying Gigabyte since Abit left consumer/retail.
I've been putting this build off for a while--for my wife. She looked at the shopping cart for Microcenter I loaded this morning and got sticker shock and that's with a a temp video card (waiting for end of next week for AMD and Nvidia 3070). Pairing this with:
Ryzen 9 3900X
Crucial Ballistix 64GB
Thermalake P3
Gbyte GTX 1050Ti
Corsair RM750x
2x Samsung 980 pro NVME
and a LG external optical drive.
No gammer on this thing and I doubt any reason to OC for the next half decade. But I figured plenty of WAF. She just said not to show her the costs and do whatever I thought was appropriate. Does that mean blank check?
