GB Touch Bios temperature

I have a weird problem regarding the CPU tempreture. The Touch Bios says that the temperature idles around 30-35 Celsius. Now, programs like CPUID hardware monitor and Coretemp says 40-45. Which one is right?
The system
i5 2400 3.1 Ghz (stock cooler)
Gigabyte z68x-ud3-b3
4gb 1333Mhz Gskill
MSI 560 ti TF/OC

With the stock cooler I would expect to see temperatures around 40C at idle on the Intel® Core™ i5-2400. Your case may make a difference a few degrees one way or the other but overall the 40C is normal.

I wouldn't trust the motherboard reading. The programs are reading actual distance to TJmax of each individual core, whereas the MB is just using its own thermal sensor somewhere near the core. My Asus reported full load temps of an overclocked 3570K (4.2) as 40something, which is quite improbable. RealTemp said 60s.

I been left the impression that it's too high. Then again the load temperatures don't go over 75 too often. But thank you for reassuring me 🙂
