I get the error failure playing back file whenever trying to watch live tv with GB-PVR. Live tv, recording, time shifting, etc works fine with windows media center and the trial version of Sagetv but I want to use GB-PVR because its free and a lot nicer in my opinion. Has anyone else had this problem before and how did you fix it ? I have tried changing all kind of settings but still nothing. I searched on the gbpvr forum but every topic comes up empty even after trying to do what they did. No one seems to have a solution.
 
I get this same error trying to use GB-PVR also. I have a Avermedia m780 card.

The screenshots of the GB-PVR program look great. But it is a pain to setup this program. I never have been able to get it to run.
