A friend sent me this link to Ashanti cause I always thought she was pretty decent looking but now I'm grossed out.

I thought she wore some makeup obviously but not a "face"

I can't make out the teeth on the right using my 19" Triniton tube all I see is a big blotch of white not the definition at all... how did you match them up?

Don't get me wrong, I don't think she is butt uglay and everyone looks good (under certain lighting.... j/k) but she isn't hot like I thought she was.

The wonders of photoshop.... zoom in. The teeth in the "after" picture have had some serious cosmetic dentistry, while the "before" teeth have not. Elementary, my dear Watson!

Not to mention that original has been doctored a little. A few months back I remember seeing the original with less sideburn hair, better looking skin and less yellow of teeth.

I'm assuming you're very young and have no clue about the role of makeup in a womans life. Guess what? Women also wear Wonderbra's which make their boobs appear fuller and rounder, so don't freak out when you grow up and meet a woman and get disappointed when the bra comes off. don't say you weren't warned.

photoshop doesn't create detail. the resolution is there or it isn't, and in this case, it isn't.

it's her. look at the nose, the eyes, the lips, and the bone structure of her cheeks, chin, and forehead. saying it's not her because an overexposed blotch 20 pixels wide looks a little different than something you can actually see is pretty silly. and even if you could see, there's this great thing called braces. they can put them on behind your teeth, and they have clear mouthpiece-style ones now, too. she easily could have had "cosmetic dentistry" without anyone knowing about it. tooth caps work wonders, too.

I'm with thomsbrain on this one. I think it is her in the picture (although it might have been altered in some spots to make her look worse?). The face itself fits though certain features seem weird. Her eyebrows stick out funny to me for some reason I don't know.

I love seeing girls without makeup. I wish there was a web site that shows what girls really look like. I like seeing that they might not be "as perfect" as I thought and therefore are slightly more approachable.

right.. the original was doctored a bit. however i still find her unattractive, makeup or not. she looks like an alien (to me).
