Gatti v. Ward III - tonight - HBO

I sure hope tonight's fight ends up being a good. Hasn't been any really good fights since De La Hoya v. Vargas.

the good ones will be in the fall.
Hopkins vs. Toney
DLH vs. Mosely
RJJ vs. Evander (still ify)

Yeah...I'm going to try and get tickets to the De La Hoya/Mosely fight...gonna be $$$...but a friend of mine just LOVES De La Hoya. She freaks over him 🙂

guess it all depends on the under-card. with HBO, they usually aim for 8-ish, a little bit after (PST of course 😉) at least, thats the time they usually have them, its merely an assumption.

Wow!! What a fight!!

Too bad Ward didn't take advantage of Gatti's apparent broken hand after the 3rd round...esp. being his last fight.

Lotta respect between those two...

Awesome fight!!!

But I wish the ref didn't stop the preliminary. I wanted to see Grant KOed.

Damn, the announcers were taunting Grant pretty bad there. "A good athlete does not make a good boxer." "He had size, he had strength, he didn't have the heart." and other things. Man, those guys were cutting on him bad. I almost felt sorry for him. Also, did you hear him when he was talking to his second? "Yes sir. Yes sir." It sounded like he was just going through the motions. I'd like to see him fight when he gets some anger to back him up. Being a pacifist boxer doesn't work very well.
