The gatorade commercial where they depect jordan missing his famous championship shot, dwight clark missing the catch in the end zone, and jeter's toss not in time to catch the A's... how on earth did they come up with those feeds?
 
Yeah, pretty great commercial really. I don't know how they edited those clips to make them look real, but it looked good.
 
that jeter toss is the most overrated play in all of sports. the throw was already on a proper line, the only thing jeter could have done by catching it and tossing it to the catcher was fsck it up.

The throw was offline and didn't have enough on it to make it to the catcher on time.

He's actually an Astros fan. And I agree it was overrated. It was smart to cut it off though... he gave it more juice to make the play on time. Lots of players are physically capable of doing that though.
 
getting back to commercial itself.. the first time I saw it... I was completely befuddled... for a sec I thought I lived in an alternate universe. All 3 looked completely real.

The previous ones where they had the players playing the wrong sports... like Vick scoring a goal for the Avalanche... that was visually flawed... but these were awesome.

Physically capable, sure. However, the key with that play was the quick recognition on his part to cut off the throw. Overrated? Depends on your viewpoint. IMHO, it was a little thing that had a huge impact. It definately changed the momentum of the series.
