Gator.....any way to disable the pop ups?

Using Gator.....I noticed my computer sending and receiving data while on the net and I wasn't even changing
webpages..... I shut Gator off and the transmissions stopped.

Is there any way to stop the pop ups ?

I uninstalled Gator and installed ad aware and killed the files.....I sure do like the form filling in that Gator did but
I couldn't have it sending stuff out could I?
