Another option if you're willing to wait on a rebate.

I currently have a Gateway MX6454 (picked up last black friday for 500 from BB TL-50 2gig ram xpress 1150) -- and I really wouldn't push anyone towards the support for Gateway. They have long wait times and the staff was no help to any of my issues. Official driver releases by the company also made my laptop reboot and lose stability - had to roll back to sept 06 catalyst drivers. There was also not a huge following for my model, so enthusiast sites offered nill.

Granted, I love my laptop. However, if I was not a PC tech, I doubt I would buy it all over again simply due to the poor support unstable drivers, etc.

Not to thread crap, but I want buyers to be informed. Great product, poor support!
