Gateway LT2104u Netbook, Repair Questions...

A Cousin gave me this LT2104u, had also given me an LT2030u, both for Free. The 2030u is a bit on the slow side, but this 2104u performs well enough to keep. So I would like to do some needed repairs on this 2104u.

I've already Upgraded this 2104u to Windows 7 Home Premium (from its stock Windows Starter) and Upgraded it to 2GB of RAM (from its stock 1GB).

Repairs it needs:

1. The CPU HS/Fan is beginning to make noise. I purchased a replacement HS/Fan on Ebay.

2. The AC/DC Jack is Loose. Purchased a Replacement on Ebay.

I've Home Built Desktops more then a few times, my PC Skills are not Technician Quality but I 'Know' my way around a PC.
Not much experience with Laptop/Netbooks Though.

I need to Install that above mentioned HS/Fan & DC Jack.
I have not been able to find any YouTube Videos on a LT21 for either part replacement.
Have not been able to find any Instructions on the Web either.

Do any of you have any Video or Instructions for the Above Mentioned Repairs ?

I think I found a Manual that may be similar from an Acer Equivalent.

Looks a bit more complicated then I want to attempt, may simply pay a PC Geek friend of mine to do it.
A Local PC Shop quoted $110 to do the Repairs using my Parts, that's way too much for such an old netbook.

Considering you can get the whole laptop for $60, I would use this freebie as something to take apart and learn with, but not the throw more money into.

Thanks for the Reply Ketchup.

The Repair Friend put in the new hs/f & the new dc jack for $30. I knowing the rest of the Netbook to be in very good condition made it worth while to me to spend the $30.
