gateway hd24 monitor

I had lg 19'' monitor. Looking for upgrade to hd monitor at 22'' monitor, i was looking around every store, gateway brand was attracked me, which is the gateway 22'' hd monitor and also the gateway 24'' had a 1080p display, but the price very high at $549. I would like to spend around $400. Need advice please.

That wasn't an answer to my question.

I'm going to assume you want an HD monitor to watch HD movies. I'm going to further assume you currently have a video card that can't do HDCP.

If I am correct in my assumptions, my advice is that you wait until you upgrade the card before upgrading the monitor.
