This looks like a great buy on paper - good price, 24", 1:1 pixel mapping, HDCP, anti-reflective surface. Anyone tried one yet?
 
As far as I know, it isn't available yet. At least I haven't heard as such from my Gateway rep. I saw it as a config option with a laptop a week or two ago, and being curious I looked for it stand-alone, which it was not available.

Hopefully, unlike the 2185, the USB ports will work, they won't have the power supply hum issue, and the panel consistency will be better (from the side, mine looks like the Adirondack Mountains).
 
Turned out there is a lot of good discussion on hardforum.com, and I was convinced enough that I just bought one at bestbuy.com and am picking it up tomorrow and the nearest store.
