Gateway FPD 1500 monitor problem

I have a gateway FPD 1500 flat panel monitor that I don't use. I recently built a new rig and wanted to save some space so I tried to set it up when I saw this jank looking interface on the back of the monitor. I found out that Gateway seems to have invented their own interface to plug into their own video cards so that no one could seperate their monitor from their computer. Does anyone have any experience with this and know the name of this interface or no how I can get around it? I am looking for an adapter to plug into my 9800 pro but can't really find to much info so if anyone has any thougths on this let me know.
