Gateway E-295C/C-140X Replacement Battery Voltage

I got a Gateway E-295C laptop for school and the battery is nearly completely dead. Windows no longer tells me the battery life, only the percentage of charge and that it should be replaced. Also, I used the BIOS battery recalibration and it showed a charge level of ~2400 mAh while the battery originally held a 6600 mAh charge. I thought of opening the battery to replace the Li-ion cells but I cannot open the battery without breaking it. I was looking for batteries on eBay and all of the batteries for this model are 14.8 volts while my old battery is only 14.4 volts. Is it safe to buy a new battery? Thanks in advance!

the 0.4V differnce isn't going to affect anything.
