I'd say YES! Pentium M chips are not cheap by any means

No - I got a dell 8600 for 1200 after rebates which has a better graphics card, widescreen and very similar specs. Intel extreme graphics = yuck.

not exactly going for power, im more on looks of the laptop lol.

i wont be playing any games on it, just use it for music production (reason) and watch dvds.
