I got in on this deal for about $364 shipped. The monitor is a Gateway FPD1830 with DVI, 350:1 brightness, 30ms response, and 0.2805mm dot pitch. Full specs
here[/L]. The LCD is actually manufactured by LG (based on lookup of the FCC ID), same as in the Dell 18" LCD...the specs are remarkably similar, which leads me to believe that they are essentially the same screen in different enclosures. My particular monitor arrived from overstock.com without outer packaging, but did include both a D-SUB cable and the DVI cable along with a manual. I'm really happy with the performance of the monitor -- in DVI mode, it's razor sharp, the contrast is great, and the viewing angle is excellent. The only drawback is that there is a slightly incompatibility with nVidia cards and Gateway LCD monitors in DVI mode that causes the screen to intermittently blank out -- this can be fixed most of the time with a software update from Gateway.
