*GASP* I need to move my Vid Cards IRQ (URGENT)

I know its normal in Win2k to share lots of IRQ's.
Currently, I am sharing about 6 or 7 devices, including
my trusty SBLIve, 2 NIC's and my Geforce 3.

I want to move the Geforce 3 out of irq 11, since my
SBLive is crackling and skipping, and I have SP2 *and*
the latest WDM's (3300a). I've tried setting the BIOS
to PNP/OS -> NO, and manually setting the AGP slot to
IRQ 5 or something (which is unused), but Win2k negates
to change it. How can I change it? I hope this fixes
my SBLive issues.

Thanks.

EPOX 8k7a+.

I am convinced that I need to move the SBLive or
the video card, but 2k wont let me!

Dispite the fact that windows remaps the irq's I've found that making sure that each device initially has it's own irq, or shares one with a device it can get along with. I've solved random lockups and disappearing cdrw's by doing the above. While your system is booting it may show a list of devices and what irq the bios is assigning them. This list basically shows what slots are using what irq's. Take note of this list and try to reduce the sharing of irq's. Even after making it so none of your devices are sharing irq's in this list, windows may still show them sharing irq's but your systm should run better.

Vid cards and SCSI cards will not accept "sharing" in most cases. Look at your mobo's PCI/IRQ sharing shart and make sure that nothing is in PCI slot 1 . . . that normally shares with the AGP slot in most mobos.
