I ordered half life 2 and the disks dont install (namely the third disk) Now I know I could get the disk from a friend but i just paid for it and i want something that works. Any way I could go about replacing this?

Is there a problem with the disk itself? Or does your computer just not read it correctly. ^_^

Should try it on a different computer.

Same thing happened to me and my friend when we purchased through walmart. Basically it was a bad batch and they refunded our money. I'm sure newegg will do the same.

If it doesn't read your disks then buy another copy of HL2 and replace it's disks to demand a full refund. :D

How is it newegg's fault for you getting a bad product that they have no way of checking.

Sorry, I can't help it, it's a disease.

Only wankers spell it 'disc'.

These tendencies soon became established practice in the different industries. This is why we buy compact disks in computer stores but get the same storage devices with different data as compact discs in music stores.

Did you talk to Newegg and try to get a replacement copy? If so, you would probably want to put that in your original post, cause right now I'm wondering the same thing no0b is.
