So Dave cherry picks the highest prices from a rural resort community to prove his point.
Dude, you might as well say that the hamburger prices at ski resorts represent what McDonalds charges.

Unfortunately for Dave I'm unbanned now and live close enough to him that I can easily look into and call BS on his daily wild statements.
You guys still insisting I drive 20 miles (over 40 round trip) just to get gas at Wally World.
Unbelievable but expected from you.
Shiner, come here and try to find a station anywhere within 10 miles of here for less than $2.84, door is always open.
I'm not insisting you do anything.
I just find it funny that you choose to live in a failry rural area and then bitch about the fact that you don't have the same choices as people in a large city due and have to pay a bit of a premium for gasoline.
Even then I don't think it is that high up there. Like I said....I drove through that area on my way home Friday and the gas prices I saw were in the $2.50 to $2.60 range except for on the turnpike where it was $2.76
You could always move to Tulsa. I topped off my tank this morning 2 blocks from the house I'm living in while the new house is being built and it was $2.62
Actually you are insisting quite a bit.
I live closer to the Refinery Headquarters than you do so there goes your "big city" argument.
That anyone that lives outside cities are second class citizens and should be punished for being so and that country folks subsidize city folks because the gas trucks drive right by the country folks to deliver the gasoline. We must have to pay a premium for that drive by service.
You didn't drive anywhere around here and see "$2.50 to $2.60" range.
Never dropped below $2.79 all summer here and most back to $2.99 now.
