Gas tank levels when doing the 1/4 mile

When people run 1/4 mile and 0-60 tests, do they typically run them on nearly empty gas tanks? A gallon of fuel weighs over 8 pounds, so I'd imagine you'd see a performance difference between a vehicle with a full tank and one with a nearly empty one. 12 gallons represents about 100 pounds.

I guess the weight of the driver makes a difference, too, when times are measured to the 1/100s of a second.

on rear wheel drive cars its run on full tank (for maximum grip).. for front wheel drive cars its run 1/4 or 1/2 tank If I am right.

My friends like to run on an 1/8 tank at the strip. Just enough for a few runs, then they fill up and go home. They all have FWD cars, on RWD cars you usually run with a fulltank.
