Gas Scooters?

So I'm thinking of getting one, as it sounds very cool and useful. But I wanted to ask some of you guys what your experience has been with them.

Also, how fuel effience are they? I expect 1L to last about 80-90km, is that accurate?

Bikes are better. They aren't as loud, aren't as costly, and they're better for your health.

Also, I could use a bike to get to school and back, but it would cost me the same (for a nice bike), would take me longer and would have me sweating like hell for 15 mins after I stop pedalling.
