Dumb question but my baseboard covers throughout the house keep on falling off and have since I owned my place. The builders cheaped out for sure and the binding clips are useless, causing the covers to just slide off all the time. I haven't cared for a while but baby on the way and guest will be coming constantly, want everything to look nice.
I'm ok with a bootleg solution but obviously duct tape won't work
What can I use to safely hold it in place, even when operating during the winter. We never need to access/remove them so something semi-permanent would be ok too (whatever the equivalent of glue would be, as long as it can be pried off with pressure in case of repairs). Would fishing wire work or is that not a good idea with heat? I'm completely ignorant on the subject so you can go ahead and call me stupid now
