america has their gas so much cheaper than everyone else. here in hong kong its just under $2US for a LITER of the stuff.. thats like a QUARTER OF A GALLON... theres always someone who has it worse.. its also much the same in the UK

No they aren't killing me, yes it hurts a little more to fill the tank, but it isn't killing me. But then, I'm only a college student so I don't drive around a huge amount...

No, Really its about $1.80 US per liter. Per gallon id say its about $6.7 US. filling a tank costs about $120 US... you guys have it so much better

It's around AUD$1.28 per liter here for the regular 91 OCT stuff, roughly US$0.70 for a liter. Actually it's similar to the US yer? Coz there's roughtly 4L to 1 US GAL right?

Right, but look at the difference in the distance you have to travel on a daily basis in your car as well as the types of cars available. They all impact how much gas is needed, I don't have numbers off hand but my guess would be that the US consumes quite a bit more.

I'm spending about $60 dollars more a month than I normally do. Annoying? Yes. Killing me? No.
