Gas price in your city

$1.43 to $1.49/liter depending on where (Montreal and surroundings).

I believe this translates to over $5/gallon.

Was $1.379/L yesterday. Works out to be about $5.20/gal for you US folks. 30% of the price of gas here in Ontario is tax alone. The gas itself is only $0.965/L, or $3.652/gal. This is why I tell people that if you're pissed about gas prices, don't just blame the oil company. The government is making a crap ton off money of high prices. Little of which actually goes towards roads and infrastructure.
