Gas is super cheap right now!

Passed by the gas station and it was 1.03/litre! It's been at least 10 years since it's been that cheap.

Is it illegal to store gas at home in 55 gallon drums? 😱

Get it while you can, oil went up today so expect gas to jump real fast.

That means nothing to me

0.94/l here 🙂

Nice, have not seen under a buck here since before 9/11. When it happened the prices skyrocketed pretty much the next day.

The oil industry is really corrupt though, there's a reason why it's so cheap right now, and it's not because it's suddenly cheaper to make it. We've been getting raped for ages.

Cheap? Wait until gas goes down another dollar per gallon. I still remember gas was $1.xx/gal back in the 90s. Full fill up for my old car was less than $20. Good time then.

They say it could be because global demand is dropping. Just because China's industry drops with sub quality products, more gas supply/less use, and Russia raised interest rates on their receding economy for obvious reasons do not correlate too "OMG Panic"

You just noticed? The price has been steadily going down for quite a while now.

I noticed but just can't believe just how much it's been going down by and how fast. I gased up not even a week ago and it was 1.13.

If it hits below a dollar it will be the first time since before 9/11.

Now everyone will start buying big SUVs again and as soon as the gas prices go back up start complaining.

I remember getting gas for 89 cents/gal back in HS, probably 00-01. And this was in SoCal.

Saw $1.86/gal today though. Course that wasn't in SoCal.

I've been stocking up on it in my garage in old milk jugs by the wood burner so it doesn't freeze.

fuel with ethanol begins to separate into the gasoline and ethanol fractions after about 30 days and expires. I hope you aren't serious. I think there is some kind of additive that can stabilize it but I wouldn't really trust that the risk is worth the reward. You have to consider the price paid, the price in the future, combined with how long you can store it and how much its degraded.

Just buy it as you need it. Stocking up on gas is silly.
