My gas dryer has a "high, medium, low" heat setting that I can use to adjust the heat.

Maybe just your model of dryer sucks.

The heat can be turned down on every gas dryer I've seen.

And they dry much faster than electric.

You must have a real cheap gas dryer. Gas drying is the best because the driver itself last longer (no heating element). Also they dry faster then electric.

Mabey you have no idea how to dry clothes?
Call your mom up, she will tell you how to avoid your problem.

Here is a hint: Only dry them for 10 minutes to get the wrinkles out then hang them on a line.
