I live in Phoenix now and my apartment doesn't have great ventilation in the living area...this means that warm air builds up. I open the windows accordingly and close them when I sleep - I haven't turned on the A/C or heat in over a month I think? It's quite nice :)

Usually just turn the heat off at night. I'm in an apartment complex so we get residual heat from the hallway and neighbors.

My room gets freezing and my dad hates whenever I touch the heat. It's a classic battle that will only end when I move out.

~64F upstairs

It's low 50s in the basement where my bedroom is. I put a Caribou hide on my bed and it's nice and toasty. :)

60 degrees 24/7 southern NH.

Blankets and long underwear keep me toasty at night.

I actually do set it at 58 at night. We have a really nice down comforter that works perfectly at that temperature. If I set it any warmer at night, I can't even use the down comforter because it's too warm.

68 in Central California. Our extreme cold weather around here is the high teens to low 20's which rarely happens.

We turn ours back during the day when we're not home. I often crank it up at night so the house is really nice and warm in the morning when I come out of our bedroom (we don't heat our bedroom; I sleep better when our bedroom is around 50 degrees, but I have an electric mattress topper.)

Try 75. :)

At night, it's set to 65, and during the day when I'm away, 55°.

I've got a programmable thermostat, so the heat comes on about 5 minutes before my alarm clocks go off, and it's set to turn on 30 minutes before I usually come home.

My thermo has an auto setting so at 9pm it shuts down to 55, at 5am turns it up t 65, 7am turns it own to 55, 7pm turn up to 63 during the week. I like it cool :D rather wear a sweater than see a high heating bill. and I'm in vegas so its not like it gets that cool here either

I use a programmable tstat and set it for 60 F at night after 9pm ten at 5 am 65 f to make it easier to get up, 7am back to 60 F then 65 again at 8pm to warm things up for a shower. my Nov. gas bill just came yesterday, $20.67 :D it doesn't hurt that I live 1/2 mile from the Pacific ocean in central CA

The heat is always off at night. If anyone is cold they can put another blanket on their bed. It is rarely on during the day. If anyone is cold they can start layering their clothes. Many years I don't even bother to light the pilot.

Our apartment stays about a constant 65 deg. F. My roommate likes it warmer and I like it cooler (mainly just because of the heating bill) so we kind of switch it.

60f from 11pm till 3pm and 68f from 3pm till 11pm. I work midnights and prefer to sleep with it being cooler.
