Any suggestion on what type of paper filter? First thing that came to my head is coffee filter.gas is old.. its probably turned into varnish.. you got to throw it out, but if you reuse it in like a fuel injected car, make sure you run it through a paper filter first before putting it in the car.

You really don't want to use that fuel. If you must, mix it with fresh fuel and filter it first.
where does one throw out old gas anyway?
local water supply, of course.

All the old gas I siphon out of lawnmowers I use as a solvent to clean parts in. Oily, dirty, watery, it really doesn't matter, the gas still cleans parts well. Then blow dry with air and reassemble. I then toss it into the storm sewer or let it evaporate. If gas wasn't meant to be in the air, then why does it evaporate so easily?
