Vid cap below, you've got to see this one to believe it. Mike Lamb drilled a HR to dead center, Matthews climbs the wall and somehow snags it after it has gone out of the park and bring it back in. Unlike Coco Crisp's catch the other night, this one was relatively meaningless as the Astros were already up 5-0, but simply an unbelievable catch.

I just saw it on SC or something and it was an amazing catch. Over the back as well as over the wall...

hes having an incredible year, but not being recognized by the fans all star voting. The managers/players will vote him in the all star game I think.

Wow that was impressive. I was going to say Kenny Lofton at Jacobs Field in '96 or so was better, but this beat Kenny's.

    Thanks for the link..
Pretty amazing catch, but I have always been a fan of those amazing one handed snags in the infield on line drives. :)

To be honest I think that is the best catch I've ever seen in my life. :Q

He didn't backhand it over his shoulder, he flipped his wrist at the last moment to catch it palm facing home plate, well above and beyond the wall. UNBELIEVABLE!:beer:
