I agree that Bobo, the Post Turtle, has a better than even chance of being re-elected and that the GOP will put up a second tier candidate, but I blame this all on the stupidity of the 22d Amendment.

Until and unless there is a serious challenge to Obama's candidacy within the Democrat Party, he will most likely win. Such is the history of the 22d Amendment. Either that or the Democrat Party's version of Ross Perot.

I am still hoping for a challenge by Hillary. Then and only then, the candidacy of Rick Perry of TX.
I really wish that Dennis Kucinich would run, because Obama seriously deserves to lose votes from Marxists.

BTW, GJ just said on Judge Napolitano's Freedom Watch that he supports keeping Guantanamo open. Whether he's just saying that to get votes, I don't really know.

He also said he was for the legalization of drugs, starting with "pot". Was he saying that too, just for votes?

Well, I liked how GJ explained his stance on Guantanamo. He was like "look, Obama authentically wanted to close it. Once he got into office though, and he was explained the reality of the situation, he didn't close it. Basically, because it's necessary. Closing guantanamo would only force us to do the same thing, somewhere else."

Not anywhere close to an exact quote. But it's a good reason.

I didn't watch the video, I just read what a friend from Antiwar said he said. Thanks for setting the record straight:)

Aaron Biterman of the RLC also clarified his position on wars. He does not, after all, favor "humanitarian wars". So I can feel comfortable voting for him if Dr. Paul doesn't run.

Agreed, that's a good reason.
