"Though Gartner has increased its forecast for PC shipments in 2003 by 3 million units, the researcher says Carly Fiorina and Michael Dell shouldn't get too excited--yet. Gartner said Friday that it now expects worldwide PC shipments to reach 164.3 million units in 2003, a 10.9 percent increase from the previous year's numbers. "

nVidia had an almost 20% share price jump due to 3rd quater results, which were quite a lot higher than expected, so parts of this year have been good, and ATi are also now turning a profit, and shares have risen a lot since the beginning of the year (although stayed steady for a few months - but even steady is good).
Intel has also doubled share price in the last 12 months.
AMD shares have pretty much doubled in 12 months as well.
Dell had ~50% increase from about 9 months ago, they all seem to be doing quite well, which may not be a bad thing if it continues.
