Garlic or onion?

OK, they're both awesome, but it's the apocalypse and you have to choose one so that we can close the hatch on the fallout shelter. Which is better, in your opinion?
 
Tough choice. Garlic barely gets the edge for me if cooking is allowed. But if it must be raw (like in a shelter), onion wins.
 
I'd hate to live without garlic and would toss out another person to keep some around. But if I absolutely had to keep one or the other I'd keep the onions. They're more versatile and used in far more dishes.
 
Onions. Fvck, I feel like bashing heads everytime the people start clapping on Emeril when garlic is mentioned. With a 20lb baseball bat.

gladly give up sex before garlic and onions.. but if I had to choose between the two, it'd have to be garlic
 
I think I could handle eating an onion by itself if I had to in order to live... I don't think I could handle eating enough cloves of garlic to stay alive though.
