Garlic Bread at Subway

My local Subway added garlic bread to the menu.

Anyone had it yet? Any good? Is it good on sandwiches other than a meatball or chicken parm?

why dont you try it for us?

meh. it's just white bread. They spead some kind if garlic butter substance on it and toast it.

I have a feeling that it's very similar to other restaurant style garlic bread

Very, very buttery, without much garlic, and toasted enough to make the surface slightly unyielding to the touch. Probably leaves a coating in your mouth afterwards.

really couldn't taste a difference eating a meatball sub. However, the sub in general wasn't that good. You know it's going to be bad when you get the meatballs at the bottom of the container 🙁

Yah it's really good IMO if you have the meatball or chicken parmesgan sub. I actually had it last night.

When I went to Los Angelas in November they had it at the subway right near the airport and i loved it. Then yesterday when I went to subway around here they FINALLY have it now on the east coast in Maryland. It's deifnitely good stuff, but I'd only have it with a sub that has marinara sauce.

Well, I just got a BMT on Italian Herbs and Cheese because I got there and the toaster was broken.

It's too bad, I was pretty excited for a chicken parm on garlic bread.

Just what I was coming to say. Except for the going there and the toaster being broken and all.

If you don't like garlic bread, don't eat it.
I am intrigued by your ideas and would like to subscribe to your newsletter.

So I got the garlic bread today.

You can get any bread as "garlic bread." The sandwich artist adds this garlic butter spread from a tube to a sandwich before toasting it. I think the spread would make for pretty decent garlic bread, it seems identical to most other garlic breads. However, my local subway seems to suck at toasting. They don't ever toast it long enough, so the garlic buttery part didn't get crispy, it was soft and goopy.

I would try the garlic bread again at another Subway.

don't have that here

italian herb and cheese and parmesian and oregeno and italian , but no garlic
