Garfield: The Movie

While Scooby Doo was a cartoon, garfield is a comic strip that prided itself on one liners. I'm talking three boxes with at most 4 sentences of dialogue. Try stretching THAT into a movie.

where scooby had a huge following among 6 to 12 yr olds, who's going to wanna watch a cartoon cat?

The worst idea, after the general concept of making a live action Garfield movie, was to make Odie a real dog and not CGI. To be honest, I think it would work better with a live action act and a CGI dog.

A bad idea in general would be Breckin Meyer.

garfield was voiced by the same dude that did peter v's voice on the (real) ghostbusters cartoon
and bill murray is doing the voice for this new film.

honestly, that is the most exciting thing about it all for me.
