garden/tree experts: when to fertilize my fruit trees?

I have 6 fruit trees in my back yard. I live in Arizona, is it time to fertilize my fruit trees or should I wait? thanks

What type of fruit trees? Usually you are supposed to fertilize just before spring.

You want to fertilize when the trees are doing something and not dormant. Fertilizing too early could cause premature new and tender growth which is the susceptible to freezing.
