garbled window corners

im having problems, where any window that is open the right corner where the minimize, maximize and close buttons are garbled up so i can see them, i have changed my refresh rate but after some time it starts to do it again, any idea what is causing this?
 
Sometimes that happens to me, the buttons just become solid blue. It usually happens to internet explorer for me, and a restart usually corrects the problem.
 
yeah but what is the problem to this because it is damn annoying, i think it started to happen when i put new ram in there, could that be the cause?
