Well, not really a garbage truck. The one that picks up recycling. Anyway...
There's one guy in each of these trucks... and I'm watching him go down the street jump in and out of the truck while it's still moving. It looks like maybe there's some type of feature on the truck that accelerates and stops the truck for him? I don't see him working the pedals, or a gear shift... just standing on a step turning the wheel. Maybe they've added something to the truck to allow them to accelerate and stop without actually getting in and using the pedals to speed up the process? Seems like that could be dangerous... what if he slipped and fell out... runaway garbage truck. Maybe he just thought of a way to speed it up using cruise control and the parking brake or something? He jumps out of the truck before the truck even stops...
