Garbage GTX 670 FPS

955 BE (4.2ghz) - 600w PSU - 8 gigs 1600k ram - M5A78L-M LX mobo - EVGA GTX 670 - h100 cooler - 500g HHD - 120g SSD

On large maps on BF3 on ultra settings im getting around 24-32 fps. Drivers are up to date. I'm all over the net trying to trouble shoot this.

I've tried running the CPU at stock clock speeds and no change. Any help would be amazing right now.

very strange ;/ even on large maps i got 60 + fps with some dips like 40-45 ...but 99% of game it is above 60 fps ....


can you test system on other card ? you cpu it's still weak but 24-32 seems too low :| you will get at least 45-50 i guess :|

My CPU may be weak at stock speeds but with an OC to 4.2 I'm just not sure theres a problem there. In fact, I should not have any problems at all. Im water cooled and its a very stable OC. I have a gts 450 that works better in most cases than the 670 in BF3.

Is your gtx670 the stock EVGA?

I am 90% sure that just upgrading to a 2600k or 3770k will do it magically

Ok, you mentioned 955BE and your Coretemp shows a 755BE X3. Is it reading it wrong?

Also, are you playing single player or multi player?

This hasn't come up in a while. Bud do you have Cool n' Quiet disabled. It helps with some game software and cpu performance to have it disabled.
