I've heard some things that gamming on win2k isn't good? Or it dosn't support some/most of the games? I usualy just play:

halflife
quakeIII
Rainbow Six
Solider of Fortune

And those type of games. oh yea, and I'm getting a RADEON 32DDR vid card, are they compat. w/ Win2k?
I just used Win2k at college and I really like it.. I am hoping its compatible with the games....

When it first came out there were some driver issues that made gaming problematic. However, now (in my experience) I can play the same games as I did in Win98 with no noticeable difference in performance. Don't know specifically if your games will work though...

Quake II
Half-Life
Star Craft
AOE II
etc.

On your list all play great on my w2k excecpt HL which I'm not so sure.

Bewared if u want happy gaming in w2k avoid ATI cards. Their driver stink.

WIn2000 works great for my gaming needs, Unreal Tournament being the one I use themos and I use an ATI Rage128 32 meg card just fine.

Unfortunetely ICSVortex is correct. ATi has done a very very poor job with their Win2K drivers. The performance is an average 50-60% worse than 98.
