Gamma correction in Open GL apps (Leadtek GF4)

Hey all,

I used to have an Asus GF2, but now I have a Leadtek GF4 4200. When I used the Asus drivers in my old card, they had gamma correction for Open GL separate from the desktop gamma settings. That way Open GL games were bright enough to see without having to adjust the gamma every time I wanted to play or having a washed-out desktop. The Leadtek uses standard NVidia drivers but doesn't have separate gamma corrections for the desktop and Open GL. To adjust the gamma with the Leadtek, I have to install Leadtek's Winfox program to even see the gamma tab. Also, it seems if I adjust the gamma (brightness), it works for some games but not others (Serious Sam is one of the ones it doesn't work on.)

Any ideas? Is there another tweak tool other than Leadtek's Winfox I can use for separate gamma settings for the desktop and Open GL apps?

Thanks,

RCraig

jamie2833,
Thanks for the suggestion. I'll have to check out that forum and see what tweakables they have.
