Gamma correction for overlay graphics?

I have stumped two forums with this question.

I have a Elsa Gladiac and I want to do gamma correction for DVD playback. Unfortunately, the gamma controls are only for normal graphics not overlays.

Does anyone know if there are any drivers out there that would let me do this for a Geforce II GTS card or if there is a way to do this in the registry?

Please note that I am not simply refering to contrast and brightness controls, but actual controls for the gamma curve.

I heard that the V5 has this feature, but not any of the Nvidia stuff.

Any info would be great.
