Gaming system specs help

Hey guys. I'm building a new gaming machine and I'd like it if you guys could check over it to see if you agree with the parts I have chosen. I have NOT purchased the parts yet.

CPU: Athlon 64 X2 3800+ (Dual-Core)
Mobo: Asus A8N-SLI Premium
Video: NVIDIA GeForce 7800 GT
Memory: 2 GB PC4200 DDR2 memory

It doesn't look like most motherboards can handle DDR2 quite yet. I'm not sure if I should wait until they do or just go with some PC3200. Does that sound right?

The AMD 64 FX processors are absurdly expensive, so I decided to go Dual-Core. You agree?

Thanks in advance.

Definately agree with the dual core. I get the idea that overclocking ram like that PC4200 you are getting wont benefit you any more than the cheaper stuff. Dont know why, maybe somone else can expand on that, i have just read that its better to just save your money and get cheaper pc3200 ram.

Apart from that, nice rig
