So I'm looking into getting a second ssd to use for some of my games, star citizen among them, and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for me. I was looking in the 120gb-250gb range and around $150, but I'm flexible. Thanks.

$150 will cover most of the "good" ~250GB models (840 EVO, MX100, M550, a couple Sandisk models, etc.)

I would get on Amazon or Newegg, set my price filter to the $120-$145 range, limit the search to 200+ GB SSDs, and see which models showed up.

If it wasn't reviewed on Anandtech, it's crap!

...that ^^^^ . And don't fool yourself, you don't need a 'Pro' model for gaming, any consumer-level drive from a reasonable manufacturer will suffice.

Thanks for the ideas guys, I think I'll probably go with the mx100, seems like a good fit. :D
