Doom3
HL2
FarCry
Call of Duty:United Offensive
Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow
UT2004
Age of Empires 3
POP:Warrior Within
Hitman Contracts
etc

Which kind of system, cpu, ram, graphic card is required to get avg 30fps @ these resolutions:
aa and af off
640*480,low settings not lowest
800*600, med settings
1024*768,high quality setttings
1280*1024,highest settings
How abt aa and af

How good is a fx 5200 128mb or 64 mb geforce 3 ti or geforce 4 ti

Decide which resolution/settings you'd like to play at and a budget for the new system. It'll be much easier to recommend something that way. If you want to be able to play at 1024x768/high you need a pretty good system.

tell how much you're willing to spend and I'll tell you, how to use them best. None of the videocards listed are good for more than 800*600, med settings, probably more like 640*480,low settings not lowest

I think biostud is trying to say that there's probably no user who has all types of video cards and has benchmarked everything you're asking for. Your best bet is to use the search function, google, and published benchmarks to help you get your info.

The 5200 is junk so don't waste your money. To play 10x7 at high settings, the lowest you're going to be able to go is probably a 9800Pro/5900 and even those cards may struggle to get 30FPS at high settings on some games, especially if playing with AA/AF enabled. For the lower resolutions you mentioned, both of those cards should be able to get 30+ FPS. For 10x7 and higher, with high settings enabled, you're going to have to start considering the X800/6800 line of cards which are a far cry from the 5200...night and day in performance/price. Depending on your budget, I'd probably lean towards a 6600GT if you're on a budget or X800 series/8600 series card if you can afford to spend some cash. With that line, you shouldn't have to worry about performance with any current game, regardless of the settings.

I played a few of those games you listed with my GeForce3 at 1024x768. I had to basically turn all the settings to low or lowest and even then they didnt run all that great. If I remember right I had tried UT2k4 and FarCry. Basically playing those games with that vid-card just wasnt fun because it couldnt run them acceptably (for me at least ie 1024x768 with quality settings at least somewhere in the middle.)

With a 128MB GF4 Ti4200...

Doom3 (800x600, low)
HL2 (1024x768, med)
FarCry (1024x768, med to low)
Call of Duty:United Offensive (1024x768, med to low)

Don't even consider an Fx5200.

Like others, I highly suggest getting something newer/faster than the GF4 ti card.

Get a used 9500Pro/9700 for under 100$ and you'll be fine with 1024x768 med to high settings (no aa/af of course). Otherwise you'll have to buy atleast a 6600GT if you want higher settings.
From the cards you listed, I'd go with the 4200TI. The others are not worth the trouble.

Well, from personal experience, I have a 9800p (OC'd, heheh), and I play HL2 at high settings and Farcry at med-high settings with AA/AF enabled at 1024*768, and it runs smooth, way better than 30 fps. Ran the CS:S video stress test and I get somewhere around 80-90 fps, can't remember exactly. I'd say the 9800p/6600gt is the lowest card you should buy if you're seriously into gaming.

For comparison, I ran HL2 on my old radeon 9000p (performance better than the fx5200 in most cases), and I had to run at 800*600, medium settings, no AA/AF, and even then it would hardly break 30 fps on average. The fx cards suck at DX9, so the situation is even worse if you buy one. If you're really on a <$100 budget, get either a 9600p for AGP or a gf6200 for PCIe.

hl2 800x600 med
doom3 800x600 low
flight sim 2004 1600x600 high
halo 2 800x600 high

xp1800 oced to 2ghz
256mb pc3200 ram
gf4 ti4400

runs fine my system ram, monitor, and hard drive speed is what limits me right now, not the video card

We are not going to write spec out an entire system for each gaming setting. There are plenty of guides out on the web for that. Look at Anands most recent buyers guides. Then google a bit.

You ask why no one is giving you a direct answer:

dude jjust tell me hwta plays at what.

just tell me what I have asked so that I can know how old cards ,low end cards perform.

Trying to order people around is one surefire way not to get the answers you want.

dude just click on the video tab under the big "anandtech" at the top of this page and read the reviews like everyone else.

you want 30+fps at 1280x1024 with aa and af on the latest games, you need a 6800gt or x800xl or faster. no one knows how aoe3 plays because it hasn't been released yet, let alone benched.

yeah, go for a 6800gt or x800xl or pro. great cards and you don't ahve to pay the extra 100 bucks or so for a 10 percent performance increase with a ultra or x850.
