Gaming Recommendations (Physical and Story Driven)

This is kind of a two part recommendation request:

1. Physicality/melee: What are some games like WH40k Space Marine, Bulletstorm, and to a lesser extent, LOTR War in the North? Space Marine and Bulletstorm both have a physicality, in addition to guns, that let you melee, stomp on heads, etc. LOTR WITN, is less like that but still fun as you can get execution-type events when enemies are low health.

2. What are some good non-Bioware games that have lots of conversational choices? If they have both the physicality of #1 and conversation wheels, so much the better! Non-Bioware; I know Mass Effect is probably already on your tongue, I already have all their games.

Regarding conversation-driven games, Alpha Protocol (Obsidian) was a lot of fun, different approaches to scenarios and dialogue choices had real effects, immediately and long term. Also features a viable melee approach, stealth vs rambo vs diplo/convo.

Dishonored for the melee question - there was something very visceral about taking down a tall-boy with your sword. Doesn't have much in the way of player directed conversation, but listening to the NPC's was rewarding.
