post your gameplays video to show notebook/desktop pc performance.

Only 1 rule: FPS counter or MSI AB STATS displayed

Excellent thread, may i add i think the program or method of recording should also be mentioned?I hear Fraps and other similar programs can actually effect performance.

I do love watching performance videos, make sure my rig falls in line with others.:)

Might make a few but my resolution, gpu and setup isn't typical and would almost be useless.Maybe some with DSR would be useful.:p

Nothing Alienware can be called small or cheap. That's kinda the point of the Alienware tag.

Running all low on that video?

yes, in multiplayer i only play on lower settings (also on desktop pc i use lower settings despite the gpu power)

i took this laptop because it was the cheaper notebook with ips hi quality screen. (it has the best contrast ratio i ve ever seen on laptops)

This ugly laptop has no horse power at all on gpu and i took it to play old games with this super super screen.
Then i found alien-fx is a must-have thing

:)
i cant say u re wrong in general

i bought it at launch but i took a good offer and it was cheap.

It was the smaller alienware on market, but i must admit it s X2 thick than razor blade or other thin laptop.

I must admit alienware 14 is the uglier alienware laptop ever made

I'd use Afterburner for stats while using OBS for actual recording. After using AB for a long time, I switched to OBS because it seems to be much more efficient for the amount of quality it puts out, which means either less frame lag or less CPU use and HDD access.

Almost everything I've recorded I have Afterburner stats on.

i5-4690K + Radeon R9 270 2 GB:
Crysis
Shadow of Mordor
MGS5 Ground Zeroes

Phenom II x4 + Radeon R9 270 2 GB
MGS5 Ground Zeroes
Tomb Raider 2013

i3-2120 + Radeon 7750 1 GB
Battlefield 3
Shadow Warrior Demo

Phenom II x4 + Radeon 5850 1 GB
Shadow Warrior Demo
War Thunder

I3 is pretty capable in BF3,i had a i3 2100 and it did pretty well with a 6790+oc.

I wouldn't regret matching just about anything gpu wise with one today even including a gtx980,they hold up pretty well. Some of these newer games and their cpu numbers really show games want more gpu then cpu.

No problems recommending a i3 here.:) At least for budget builds.

Notebookcheck has a pretty decent archive of mobile GPU + CPU performance, albeit not perfect.

There are benchmarks all over the place, and entire forums dedicated to performance optimization. This must be an alienware employee or something. It's transparent. This thread doesn't make any sense otherwise.

i saw em all!
i had the same tiny numbers, they are hard to read on utube:

"on screen display zoom" in rivatuner statistic

good gaming!

i prefer to see the actual gamplay and performance on a large variety of configs, numbers arent so funny to me.
And when i see a gameplay i wanna know the exact config/overclock/ of the rig, this is not so common while browsing the tube, the best way is this thread on a tech forum with specs displayed and links!

I m not going to buy an alienware pc anymore, i am an alienware gamer, not an alienware "buyer" anymore, i dont like their recent policy ( we can say i hate em now, for trashing the optX and TactX brand)

He probably just wants traffic for his YouTube channel.

just the opposite, as u can se i created it only to upload some performance video on a weak laptop

This how I do it,game in windowed mode, process explorer showing CPU usage,i/o ,mem, and threads, core temp to show core load and GPU-Z to show gpu clocks and vmem usage.
And wherever possible I let the OBS window be visible so that people can see at what FPS and bitrate the recording was made and when and if there was any "high recording"
G1820 with an R7-240
FarCry4
DA:Inquisition
evolve
DyingLight
WoW february 2015 (playing local tv with chrome in the background)

i really like the way u show all stats (btw, great temps !)

this celeron is a little beast, always over 90% usage, but can handle DL/evolve quite well for it s price and tdp

but multi gpu support is a problem while in window mode, so it s not for all the configs
