:thumbsup::thumbsup:

I should point out that the build in the OP is basically the same performance as the build in the Midrange builder's thread (w/ R9 290 option), but with a smaller SSD and for ~$200 more money.

Dzien dobry panie Chusteczko. Juz wypelniam reszte dzieki za wskazowki. 🙂
This pc will be used mainly for gaming
The budget is 1400 dollars for the pc and monitor. The rest I will buy later separately.
I will be buying these parts in the U.S.
I prefer intel.
I dont plan on overclocking although I might in the future but probably not.
I will be purchasing windows 8.1.
Thanks

OK, so I would recommend picking up the build I mentioned in my previous reply and adding a this LG 23.8" 1080p IPS monitor ($140 AP).

O thanks for the suggestion. But as far as the build that I picked are the parts all compatible?

Yes, but you are spending a bunch of money on some expensive parts that don't change performance (mobo, RAM, PSU), and getting an overly expensive yet small SSD.

My 14 year old nephew has installed a lot of games. For his system, I needed 3 SSD's.
  • 120GB for the operating system
  • 256GB for Origin
  • 256GB for Steam

I like the suggestion for a case with more room for the video card, I would have missed that.

Make sure the motherboard and case both provide for front panel USB3.0.

If you are not planning on overclocking, you could get an H97 motherboard and save about $90. The board you selected is top of the line with new expensive features. Do you need the M.2 interface or memory faster than 1600MHz? I like 1866MHz but the Intel H97 motherboards seem to limit themselves at 1600MHz, and I am not sure that $90 premium is worth upgrading from 1600MHz to 1866MHz.

Here is a reasonable combo valid through this evening (7/27). But maybe you are looking for different motherboard features.
Intel Core i5-4690K + ASUS H97-PLUS LGA 1150 Motherboard ($295)

There is literally no reason to segregate your data like that among multiple SSDs.

Modern SATA6G SSDs, will max out the SATA connection, and it's not likely that you would be playing both an Origin and a Steam game at the same time on the same PC, and the OS's paging and filesystem accesses would easily fit within the bandwidth of a single SSD.

Either get a 512GB MX100 for $200-215, or a 1TB EVO for $400.

I did it for cost mainly, about a year ago before the current downward price trend. The larger the drive, the more expensive it is. Plus there was a time differential where I first purchased the 120GB for the operating system, then a few months later needed to expand, and then needed to expand a few months after that.

I suppose in hindsight it seems rather silly.

Oh, I thought that you purchased them all at once, at today's prices. Never mind my comment then. It makes more sense if you acquired them over time.

Yes but you made me realize that times and costs have changed. That what seemed appropriate a year ago does not apply now with today's prices.

Thank you for all the suggestions guys. I found a couple cases that I like and I think that this one should fit all the parts. What do you guys think?

A Nine Hundred would fit all the parts, but its quite outdated by today's standards. Check out the Corsair 300R for a more up-to-date case (2.5" drive bays, lots of cable management, nicer HDD mounting, and overall less gaudy) at the same price point.
