Hey Gaming guys! I built my own computer a few years back and it caught fire, so it is time for a new one! I would rather not build one but if I have too I will.

I am currently looking at the - Asus - Essentio Desktop - 12GB Memory - 2TB Hard Drive. It has the GTX 760 GPU, i7 4770S and I am not sure about the mother board. My Monitor is 1920x1080 and I might OC

I will be gaming (DayZ, BF4, Titan Fall, and Arma 3.

I have a few questions. I plan on gaming and Tendering HD Videos for YouTube. Will the Asus fit my needs to run games at a good FPS? If not, can I do Dual GTX 760's SLI? Thanks Guys! YOU ARE AWESOME!

You won't be overclocking that Acer, that's for sure. Other than that, you are basically paying $50 for the privilege of the Acer. What I mean by that is that a computer you built yourself for $1000 would have a better GPU (+$50) and an SSD (+$100), but wouldn't come with Windows (-$100). So overall it's not a bad deal if you don't want to build your own.

The only problem is that there's no 3GB GTX 760...only 2GB or 4GB because of the 256-bit bus. It also doesn't say if it supports SLI.

It looks decent, but strange to use a lower tdp "S" processor in a desktop with a discrete card. You will lose a bit of CPU performance. I am sure also that the mb will not allow crossfire and you won't be able to over clock. I expect the power supply is also rather marginal and would have to be replaced if you switch to a more powerful video card. Still, not a bad deal though.

The GTX 760 3GB is an OEM model with a 192-bit bus and lower clocks. It's the same speed as GTX 660 which means it's worth $50 less than the consumer GTX 760 2GB.

Good catch, I had a feeling that was not a true GTX760, but wasn't sure how to find out what it really was.

If the OP doesnt mind having the unit shipped, he might do better to order a custom build from someone like cyberpower or Digital Storm. OTOH, there is something to be said for having a local store for returns if there is a problem.

Edit: for example, digital storm has a level 3 vanquish model with an i5 4570, a real gtx 760, and a 600 watt corsair power supply for 980.00.
