I've done some quick testing, Nvidia's drivers aren't much better. I can't even enable anti-aliasing in their not-feature-complete Vista control panel.Originally posted by: remagavon
Slower. Maybe 1/2 speed (compared to xp). This is using an x1900xtx, so it might be different with nvidia's drivers rather than ati's. OpenGL runs like *crap,* but I'm going to wait until the public beta is out to start a general thread with q&a in hopes of finding an answer to that, as not many devs game.
It's a beta operating system with a new driver model(WDDM), what did you expect?Originally posted by: gizbug
That bad for nvidia people?

Hmm, I was gonna download Vista beta just for Media Center, but I dont think all sacrifice half my gaming speed for that. Prob just "acquire" Windows MCE
1) Add an entry to the registry at HKCU/Software/Microsoft/Windows/Current Version/Explorer/Shell Folders called "Fonts" with the entry "C:/Windows/Fonts"Originally posted by: Seeruk
To be honest I have only had time to test one game, Eve Online
It doesnt work![]()
