Slower. Maybe 1/2 speed (compared to xp). This is using an x1900xtx, so it might be different with nvidia's drivers rather than ati's. OpenGL runs like *crap,* but I'm going to wait until the public beta is out to start a general thread with q&a in hopes of finding an answer to that, as not many devs game.

I've done some quick testing, Nvidia's drivers aren't much better. I can't even enable anti-aliasing in their not-feature-complete Vista control panel.

Hmm, I was gonna download Vista beta just for Media Center, but I dont think all sacrifice half my gaming speed for that. Prob just "acquire" Windows MCE

"Acquiring" software is "frowned" upon here. No warez discussion, please.

1) Add an entry to the registry at HKCU/Software/Microsoft/Windows/Current Version/Explorer/Shell Folders called "Fonts" with the entry "C:/Windows/Fonts"
2) Ignore the error at Eve's startup that says your DirectX is out of date.

Hmmm I gave it a shot, and it got further in that the login screen loaded up, seemed to sit there for a few minutes after entering login details without doing anything so I quit and forgot to try again after a reboot :)

Will be trying again tonight though

I am installing Vista B2x64 from my MSDN account as we speak. I will let you know what games look like on it.
