I'm currently playing an old CRPG (Temple of Elemental Evil) on my laptop and recently remembered that my HDTV can act as a computer monitor. I hooked my laptop up to the television, and voila!: Giant Computer Monitor!
Cool!!
My question is this: I'm considering placing my new desktop in the same room as the TV, and am wondering if playing FPS games like Half-Life 2, Crysis, etc. on the TV will work. I mean, I know it will probably work, but I'm wondering if there will be any drawbacks or issues. The television is a 60-inch Panasonic LCD Rear Projection, that runs at 720p. I'm not sure of the native resolution.
Any thoughts or comments on this?
Thanks,
David
